Ask a Landmatcher with Nyree Marsh Hosted by Young Agrarians

“Calling all farmers, landholders, and farm-curious folks! Looking for information or advice about leasing farmland? Come gather with your community for a Q&A session with Columbia Basin Land Matcher, Nyree Marsh!

Join us on Thursday, March 6th to learn how you can access farmland or lease your farmland, with support from the B.C. Land Matching Program. Nyree Marsh, our Columbia Basin Land Matcher, will share information and answer questions about leasing and sharing land, the land matching process and farm transition. Nyree has been farming or working with farmers in the Kootenays since 2005 – she offers a wealth of local farming knowledge, so bring all your questions!

We encourage all landholders to join us, whether you have a well-developed vision for your land or have just started thinking about land sharing. We also welcome all farmers and farmers-to-be, whether you grow fruits or veggies, raise livestock (or bees) or have some other farming project in mind.

Come stop by to learn about land sharing while connecting with your community!”
